You can be the difference between someone's storm and their sunshine. Donors are critically needed right now after a sharp decrease in donations since late spring. All blood types are needed, especially donors giving type O blood and those giving platelets. All who come to give blood or platelets July 1-31 will get a Fandango Movie Ticket by email. CDTFA Expands Language Resources for Non-English-Speaking Taxpayers.

CDTFA’s online “Virtual Agent” chatbot now speaks Spanish, making it possible for taxpayers to get answers to common tax questions in both English and Spanish 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Taxpayers can access the Virtual Agent on CDTFA’s website by clicking on the Chat button.

El CDTFA (Departamento de administración de impuestos y cuotas de California) aumenta los recursos lingüísticos para contribuyentes que no hablan inglés. 

El CDTFA ha aumentado los servicios para contribuyentes que no hablan inglés y simplificado la navegación de su oferta de recursos en otros idiomas. El chatbot del “Agente Virtual” del CDTFA ahora responde en español, lo que permite a los contribuyentes recibir respuestas a preguntas habituales sobre impuestos tanto en inglés como en español, las 24 horas del día, los siete días de la semana. The 2023-2024 Sonoma County Civil Grand Jury has just released a report entitled MADF 2024: Déjà vu All Over Again. 

This year the Civil Grand Jury conducted an in-depth review of conditions at the Sonoma County Jail, also known as the Main Adult Detention Facility. The Jail is intended to be secure, safe, and humane confinement for those awaiting adjudication of offenses and inmates who have been convicted and are serving their sentences. Want to know more? • July 13: third annual Windsor Taco Fest & Lowrider Car Show, from 4 - 8 p.m. No advance wristbands or tickets needed this year!

• September 14: Windsor Fiestas Patrias, from 4 - 8 p.m. Join an authentic celebration of the annual Mexico's Day of Independence holiday.

• November 2: Windsor Dia de Muertos, from 4 - 8 p.m. Bring your camp chairs to sit on the green and enjoy the music and dance performances, and dinner from your favorite street trucks. As always, the festival and performances are free.
